Q-I want to get my bike painted, how much will it cost?
 A - e mail us with all the info on the bike and the parts you want painted  as well as what you would like painted on it and we will give you a free estimate on how much it will cost.

Q- How long will it take to paint my bike?
A- depending on what your having painted and the detail involved it can take for 1 tank and 2 fenders 2 to 5 weeks in the slower season (Summer) and 6 to 10 weeks at the peak season (Winter).Let us know what your project is and we can give you an idea of how long it will take.


Q-Do you take credit cards and do i have to pay the entire price up front?
A-Yes we accept credit cards if you want to finance your paint job and we also take Paypal payments, personal checks, money orders or business checks.You do not have to pay the entire cost of your paint up front only a deposit,usually between 300 and 500 dollars depending on the job.The remaining total is due when the paint is ready to ship back to you.

Q-Do you clear coat the bike when its done?
A- yes of course we do , you have a choice of clear coats that you can pick from they are glossy , matte ,  satin , or flat finish.If your having something painted to match a bike you would pick the finish the bike already has.

Q-Can i get progress reports on my paint job?
A- yes, we will e mail you photos of the paint job before we finish it.If your having detailed art made you will get drawings of the art before we begin the paint that you will approve.

Q-I want a mural done but im not sure what i want
A- Were here to help, and the point of having custom artwork made is to have something that's personal to you ,like a tattoo.Most people pick a subject or theme they love be it , WWII , The Wild West, Skulls or Pin Up girls  for example and generally after a few e mails asking about your personal interests and the subject matter Sara will pull some sketches together of what the art would look like on the finished bike and e mail them to you.
A good rule is to start collecting images of things you like off the Internet or magazines and place them in a folder to show the artist when you begin to give her an idea of what direction the artwork should go toward.Were happy to discuss what we can do for you.

Q-How do i send you my parts to paint?
A - For smaller boxes ( one tank one fender )we recommend UPS or USPS.UPS and the UPS Store will pack parts for you if you don't want to do it yourself.Generally a tank and 2 fenders will cost between 40 and 80 dollars depending and it needs to be insured as well for peace of mind.

For smaller packages and large , heavy or bulky parts ( an entire bike set and or frame ) we recommend greyhound package express as its reliable fast and affordable.You can pack it with blankets and bubble wrap into large tupperware bins and seal it with packing or duct tape and it will be stronger than a cardboard box.They accept packages at most all greyhound stations and you can visit their website for more info.

We are also located near the Port of Los Angeles California and have a reliable auto shipper there we can pick up entire bikes from at their terminal if you want an entire matching paint job,which relieves you of the home delivery charge and they ship internationally.

Q-Do you do body work?
A-Yes we will do the bodywork necessary to get your parts ready to paint and its included in the quote.We can also modify parts if you want that done as well.

Q- Can i buy new unpainted parts and send them?
A- Yes, if you want to buy a new set of sheet metal we will prep and paint it with all necessary bodywork it needs before paint and we can seal the gas tanks as well before paint.

Q- I want to buy a new tank and fender can you recommend someone?
A- We can send you a list of companies we get parts supplied from and have had good dealings with.You can also visit your local dealer to order parts as well.We work with everyone from seat makers and leather toolers to custom tank builders.

Q-I want to buy a tank you have already painted thats for sale on your website can you paint a fender to match it?
A- Yes, we plan on making a matching design on a fender ( or 2 fenders)for every tank, the best way is to re paint fenders you already have on your bike that fits to match the new tank.

Q- Will the tank on your website fit my bike?
A- We paint standard size tanks and the model is listed so the best way to find out if your not sure is to call your local motorcycle dealer for your brand of bike and give them the info listed on the new tank and what you have,they can usually let you know right away if it will fit.

Im going to a show you will be at can i bring the parts and give them to you there?
A- Of course , see you there.

What else do i get? All orders receive a free Sara Ray sticker and postcard PER ITEM! Order 2 posters get 2 stickers order 3 shirts get 3 stickers etc.... 

How is it shipped? We ship our posters rolled never folded or creased.Completely encased in craft paper then in heavyweight paper and then bubble wrap shipped inside a heavy duty shipping tube so it arrives clean and crisp.The watermark-writing on the web image does NOT appear on the actual poster!
Shirts are mailed in poly bags that are tear proof and able to roll up and fit in a mailbox instead of sit on a porch in a box.Shirt and posters ordered together may ship in separate packages.

How do i know when it shipped out to me?
All orders made through Paypal are shipped through USPS and their automatic tracking system,you will be emailed when your order goes out and get a tracking number you can locate your items with 24/7 online. If you send a money order and we have an e mail address for you we will send you the tracking number from the post office.We generally get posters out within 24 hours on business days.


How else can i buy one? We accept checks and money orders at our PO BOX address.Email ahead so we can assure your prints are in stock and then simply write down the design and quantity you would like to order and mail it with payment to us at
